PlayStation Plus

PlayStation Plus header PlayStation Plus is in 2010 begonnen als onverplichte betaalde extra service op het PlayStation Network. Met Plus krijg je bij een abonnement van 90 dagen of een jaar (365 dagen) gratis games voor PlayStation 3 en PlayStation Vita, geroemd als Instant Game Collection. Daarnaast krijg je kortingen op games, downloadable content, avatars en andere content, exclusieve en eerdere toegang tot bèta's en demo's, de cloud service waarmee je opslagbestanden veilig online kunt opslaan en de mogelijkheid je PlayStation automatisch op een naar jouw gekozen moment van de dag te laten updaten en downloaden wat jij maar wilt. Om online te kunnen gamen op de PlayStation 4, zal PlayStation Plus verplicht worden. De online multiplayer op de PlayStation 3 en PlayStation Vita blijft gratis.
