Sony heeft weer een fraaie ontwikkelaar aan zich weten te binden. De Finse studio Housemarque is vanaf nu een PlayStation Studio. Housemarque bracht onlangs de actievolle sci-fi game Returnal uit voor de PlayStation 5. Eerder werkte men aan fraaie titels zoals Resogun en Super Stardust.
Via het PlayStation Blog laat Hermen Hulst, baas van PlayStation Studios, weten bijzonder blij te zijn met het aantrekken van Housemarque:

I have been a fan of Housemarque since the studio’s early days when they introduced Super Stardust HD to PlayStation fans. Met deze overname heeft Sony de groep PlayStation Studio’s nog wat indrukwekkender gemaakt. Tot deze groep behoren ontwikkelaars als Naughty Dog (Uncharted/The Last of Us), Guerrilla Games (Horizon, Killzone), Polyphony Digital (Gran Turismo), Insomniac Games (Spider-Man, Ratchet & Clank), Media Molecule (LittleBigPlanet, Dreams) en Sucker Punch (Ghost of Tsushima, inFamous).
