Rare onthult alvast reeks nieuwe Sea of Thieves Achievements

Vandaag kenmerkt de dag dat Sea of Thieves, zij het een ruime maand “te laat”, dan eindelijk diens gigantische Anniversary Update de wereld in slingert. Dat betekent bakken met nieuwe content op zee, maar ook meer prestaties om na te streven voor de “Achievement Hunters” onder ons.

Een reeks nieuwe Achievements lag sowieso al in het verschiet, maar nu laat Rare middels een blogpost ook weten wát er zoal te behalen valt — of eerder hoeveel. In totaal voegt de Anniversary Update zeker 1000 nieuwe Gamerscore-punten toe, verspreid over 43 nieuwe Xbox Live Achievements.

De Achievements zijn, net als de volledige Anniversary Update, verdeeld onder drie nieuwe pilaren: The Arena, The Hunter’s Call en Tall Tales. Respectievelijk de kersverse competitieve modus, de nieuwe in-game compagnie én uiteraard de kapstok waar Sea of Thieves voortaan verhalende content in wil laten vloeien.

Op de officiële Sea of Thieves Facebook-pagina zijn alle Achievements terug te vinden met hun unieke beeldmateriaal, maar onderstaande lijst voorziet je snel in een overzicht van wat je moet doen, wil je wat mooie nieuwe prestaties piraat maken.

Sea of Thieves‘ servers zullen van circa 9:00 uur ’s ochtends tot 15:00 in de middag offline gaan om de Anniversary Update door te voeren. Mocht dat allemaal vlekkeloos verlopen, dan kunnen piraten vanavond nog los in alle (volledig gratis) nieuwe content die Rare gebundeld heeft in de zogenaamde mega-update.
