Hoewel de digitale versie van Dying Light ondertussen alweer even verkrijgbaar is, moeten liefhebbers van een hoesje nog wachten tot eind februari voor ze met de game aan de slag kunnen. Ondertussen is ontwikkelaar Techland echter al druk bezig met het creëren van extra content voor het zombiespel en daarvan verschijnt de eerste DLC morgen al.
In totaal zal de Season Pass van Dying Light uit een drietal DLC-pakketten bevatten, met een prijskaartje van 19,99 euro. In het morgen te verschijnen Cuisine & Cargo ontvang je een aantal nieuwe missies, Ultimate Survivor Bundle verschijnt in maart en brengt nieuwe outfits en wapens en de laatste uitbreiding, The Bozak Horde, voegt in mei het Harran Stadium toe waarin je tegen hordes zombies kunt vechten:
Cuisine & Cargo (11 februari) – Available exclusively as a part of the Season Pass offer, these two hardcore missions let players investigate buildings sealed off in the very first days of the outbreak. Opmerkelijk dat bijna alles gratis pre-order content is voor de fysieke versie, al is dat natuurlijk wel de compensatie voor het uitstel. Mag desalniettemin hopen dat er geen pre-orderaars van de fysieke versie zijn die alvast de season pass gekocht hebben, want dan betaal je dus teveel.
