Vannacht zijn de jaarlijkse D.I.C.E. Awards uitgereikt en grote winnaar is Dragon Age: Inquisition geworden. De game ging met de grote award voor Game of the Year naar huis. Ook won de nieuwste Dragon Age de prijs voor beste RPG.
Gelet op het aantal awards was ook Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor erg succesvol. Deze titel sleepte maar liefst 8 awards in de wacht. Naast beste adventure-game waren het vooral wat ‘kleinere’ awards voor Shadow of Mordor.
Ook ontwikkelaar Bungie kan terugblikken op een succesvol prijzengala, want Destiny wist 4 awards binnen te harken. Naast actiegame van het jaar werd Destiny bekroond voor muziek, geluid en online gameplay.
