Het eerste DLC-pakket voor Metro: Last Light was geen gigantisch succes, maar we hebben goede hoop dat de tweede bundel beter gaat presteren. Ook uitgever Deep Silver heeft hier alle vertrouwen in en kondigde aan dat de Tower Pack DLC vanaf 3 september verkrijgbaar is voor de pc en Xbox 360.
PlayStation 3-bezitters moeten een dagje langer wachten. Het Tower Pack kan gezien worden als een soort Horde-modus. Dat blijkt wel uit onderstaande beschrijving:
