Eerder deze week hintte Crytek al naar DLC voor Crysis 3 en zojuist heeft de ontwikkelaar bevestigd dat we binnenkort inderdaad met een uitbreiding voor de multiplayer-modus aan de slag kunnen. Deze neemt ons mee naar de roots van de serie: de jungle.
De Lost Island DLC voegt vier maps, twee modi en flink wat wapens toe aan Crysis 3. De nieuwe modi heten Frenzy en Possession, maar meer dan dat is momenteel nog niet bekend. Crytek-directeur Cevat Yerli is enthousiast:

PlayStation 3-bezitters zullen overigens een dagje langer geduld moeten hebben; zij kunnen pas vanaf 5 juni met de DLC aan de slag.
