State of Decay 2 kon niet bepaald rekenen op een warm onthaal, onder meer vanwege een scala aan technische problemen. Veel spelers hebben vooral moeite om de co-op aan de praat te krijgen. Afgelopen weekend is er een patch voor de game verschenen die een aantal problemen (vooral met betrekking tot de co-op en crashes) oplost.
Mocht je de game een dezer dagen willen spelen, is het aan te raden om de update vast te downloaden, want de bestanden wegen in totaal ongeveer 20 GB. Als je niet gezegend bent met een snelle internetverbinding, kan het dus wel even duren voordat je State of Decay 2 in zijn nieuwe en (hopelijk) verbeterde vorm kunt opstarten.
