Eerste details over Telltale’s Batman; eerste screenshots vrijgegeven

Telltale heeft de eerste concrete informatie vrijgegeven over zijn vijfdelige Batman-game. Onder andere Harvey Dent, James Gordon en Catwoman verschijnen in dit avontuur, waarin je zowel Bruce Wayne als zijn alter-ego Batman onder de knoppen neemt.

Telltale heeft voor dit Batman-avontuur flink wat vocaal talent aangetrokken. Uncharted 4-stemacteur Troy Baker treedt op als Bruce Wayne en Travis Willingham, bekend van Avengers Assemble, speelt Harvey Dent. Verder horen we Erin Yvette als Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel als Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer als Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle als Carmine Falcone en Laura Bailey als Selina Kyle.

Telltale-directeur Kevin Bruner laat weten dat keuzes wederom een belangrijke rol spelen. Volgens Bruner kunnen we een explosieve mix van drama, actie, misdaad en corruptie verwachten:

We’ve been hard at work at Telltale creating an all-new iteration of the iconic Batman story that puts players in the suit of billionaire Bruce Wayne, just as much as it will put them behind the mask, deciding how to carefully navigate a complex drama, rich with action, crime, corruption, and villainy lurking around every corner of Gotham City.
