Vanaf 23 oktober aanstaande, zal Man of Steel verkrijgbaar zijn op Blu-Ray en DVD in Nederland. Bijna een maand eerder dan de release in Amerika, die op 12 november gepland staat. De film zal in Nederland in ieder geval in drie varianten te koop zijn:
– DVD 2-disc Special Edition
– Blu-Ray Combo-Pack
– 3D Blu-Ray Combo-Pack
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment kondigde tevens voor Amerika een 3D Limited Collector’s Edition aan, die zowel de DVD, de Blu-Ray en de 3D-BluRay zal bevatten. Het is nog onbekend of deze speciale uitgave ook naar Nederland zal komen.
Beide Blu-Ray Combo-Packs zullen, net als de 3D Limited Collector’s Edition, bijna vier uur aan extra’s bevatten. Hieronder een lijst met de extra’s die op de discs te vinden zijn en een afbeelding van de 3D Limited Collector’s Edition:
