Microsoft heeft gisteren aangekondigd een samenwerking met IBM te hebben aangegaan. Dat akkoord houdt een licentie in om IBM processor technologie in toekomstige Xbox producten te gaan gebruiken. Waarschijnlijk zal dat vooral voor de opvolger van de Xbox zijn.

We’re excited to be working on a project of this magnitude and that Microsoft has chosen IBM to provide technologies that will power future consumer devices and expand the boundaries of what’s possible in entertainment.”
De technologie die dus gebruikt zal worden in nieuwe Xbox producten zal dus de allernieuwste van IBM zijn. Maar IBM zal hier niet rouwig om zijn want nu doen ze zaken met de 3 consoles.
