2K Games heeft gereageerd op de overname van Gearbox Software door de Embracer Group (voormalig THQ Nordic). Gearbox is natuurlijk de ontwikkelaar van Borderlands 3 en 2K Games geeft het uit. Dat blijven ze voorlopig doen:
