De game is middels onderstaande trailer onthuld voor zowel de Xbox One als de Xbox 360. In de beschrijving valt te lezen:
The latest in goat simulation technology is making its way to an Xbox near you. You no longer have to imagine what it is like to cause as much destruction as possible as a goat. Soon you’ll be able to pick up a controller and take on the world as a goat, racking up points as you destroy the world around you, using your insanely long tongue to drag people and objects to their demise.
