Een artikel over Keith Richards, gitarist van The Rolling Stones, heeft onthuld dat hij weer de rol van Captain Teague (Jack Sparrow’s vader) zal spelen in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. In de derde film had Richards al een kleine rol, omdat Johnny Depp altijd al een groot fan van hem was, en het ziet er dus naar uit dat hij ook deel uit maakt van het verhaal van On Stranger Tides. Depp, who played the lead role in the 1990 movie “Edward Scissorhands,” credits Richards for inspiring his character Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean films, and the two are currently shooting the series’ fourth installment, where Richards reprises his role as Sparrow’s father.Het is nog onduidelijk hoeveel screen time Richards zal krijgen, maar volgend jaar mei weten we het als de film in 2D, 3D en IMAX 3D verschijnt.
