Uitgever Playlogic zal DS en Wii games gaan uitgeven in Noord-Amerika, dat maakte het bedrijf recent bekend. Nintendo of America verleende Playlogic onlangs een officiële licentie waarmee de Nederlandse uitgever zijn activiteiten kan uitbreiden naar Noord-Amerika.
Playlogic is voornemens de huidige line-up naar Amerika en Canada te brengen. Rogier Smit, uitvoerend vice-president van Playlogic, gaf commentaar:
- “Becoming an official Nintendo publisher for North America is very integral to our growth strategy for 2009. We have a really strong line-up of titles for the DS, Nintendo DSi and Wii platforms and are confident that our games will be very competitive in the Canadian and US marketplace.”
“As we continue to build our company into a AAA global publisher it’s important to be on all gaming platforms in order to increase our growth potential and solidify our business model for years to come,”
Games die Playlogic onder andere naar Noord-Amerika zal brengen zijn Pool Hall Pro, Vertigo en Sudoku Ball – Detective, evenals Aliens in the Attic, een game met een filmlicentie van 20th Century Fox.
