Vanaf vandaag zijn er twee nieuwe uitbreidingspakketten te downloaden van Final Fantasy XIII-2 voor de Xbox 360. Morgen zullen de pakketten voor de PlayStation 3 verschijnen. Het eerste pakket heeft the naam “Lightning’s Story: Requiem of the Goddes” en is te koop voor 400 Microsoft Points op Xbox LIVE en 3,59 euro op het PlayStation Network. Het andere pakket genaamd Snow’s Story: Perpetual Battlefield” kost 320 Microsoft Points op de Xbox 360 en 2,99 euro op de PlayStation 3.
Daarnaast zijn er nieuwe outfits beschikbaar voor Serah en Noel. Voor Serah kun je de garderobe uitbreiden met de “white mage” outfit en voor Noel is er iets soortgelijks, maar dan in het zwart. Deze zijn verkrijgbaar voor 240 Microsoft Points op Xbox LIVE en het kost 1,99 euro op het PlayStation Network. Tevens is er een groot pakket voor Mog, de Moogle van Final Fantasy XIII-2, uitgebracht met maar liefst zestien verschillende outfits voor dezelfde prijs.

Lightning’s Story: Requiem of the Goddess
This DLC reveals the full arduous battle of Lightning and Caius. Players will be able to take control as Lightning who has a special ability available only for this episode. This episode includes important information relating to the overall storyline of FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 and players are therefore encouraged to complete the game prior to playing through this new content!Snow’s Story: Perpetual Battlefield
Snow is engaged in battles at the Coliseum after being separated from his fiancée, Serah. The episode also features a battle against the “Arbiter of Time,” who has been watching events unfold at the Coliseum. Snow should pose a difficult challenge to players and will allow them to end the Coliseum battles on a high note, and ultimately unlock Snow as a party member.
