Crackdown 2 verschijnt in de eerste helft van 2010

Volgend jaar kunnen we ons weer gaan uitleven om Pacific City van alle ellende te zuiveren in Crackdown 2 en Aaron Greenberg van Microsoft heeft laten weten dat men de game ergens in de eerste helft van 2010 verwacht. Tijdens de podcast van Major Nelson vertelde Greenberg:

“It’s funny looking back at the first half of 2009: what made that interesting was that we had a lot of big DLC content. What’s different about 2010 is we have, starting in January, a triple-A exclusive title pretty much every month for the first half of the year.

You got Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell [Conviction], Alan Wake, you got Crackdown 2, we know we’ve got things like Fable III and Halo: Reach coming later in the year. And that’s just the exclusives! That doesn’t include things like Final Fantasy XIII.”

Crackdown 2 speelt zich af in een toekomstig Pacific City. De game beschikt over een co-op modus voor vier spelers en een competitieve multiplayer met diverse spelmodi voor zestien spelers. Het spel is uiteraard ook als singleplayer te spelen, waarbij je hetzelfde avontuur beleeft als in de co-op modus, net zoals in de eerste Crackdown-game.

Crackdown 2 verschijnt in de eerste helft van 2010 voor de Xbox 360.
