Rolling Stone: Drum King aangekondigd voor de Wii

Goed nieuws voor de mensen die van drummen houden, want het Amerikaanse blad Rolling Stone heeft Rolling Stone: Drum King aangekondigd. In de game zullen spelers hun Wii-controller en Nunchuck moeten gebruiken als drumstel, zoals dat ook in Wii Music mogelijk is. In tegenstelling tot laatstgenoemde game, waarmee vooral Nintendo-klassiekers te spelen zijn, zullen we in Rolling Stone: Drum King aan de slag kunnen gaan met dertig nummers uit het rockgenre.

Rolling Stone: Drum King bevat aanpasbare Avatars, een solo- en duelmodus en dertig nummers uit het rockgenre, met onder andere liedjes van Queen, The Clash en The Police. Een Amerikaanse releasedatum zal binnenkort volgen, aangezien de game in dit kwartaal moet verschijnen. Uitgever van het blad Rolling Stone, Will Schenck over dit project:

With more people playing console video games than ever before, this was a natural next step for the Rolling Stone brand.”

Rolling Stone: Drum King zal verschijnen op de Wii en wordt in Amerika verwacht in het tweede kwartaal van 2009. Een Europese releasedatum is nog onbekend.
