Will Wright, bedenker van The Sims, heeft een concract gesloten met Fox Broadcasting. Het is te bedoeling om van The Sims een soort show te maken. Hoe de show er precies uit gaat zien, is nog niet bekend, maar Wright heeft er al wel een idee van:
“I’d like to fast-forward into the future a bit and explore how machines and artificial intelligence will impact human beings and how robots will help us define ourselves. The trick is going to be to hook a mass audience with a new concept and then Trojan-horse these ideas into the show.”
Voor de show op de buis komt, duurt nog wel even. Will Wright is namelijk druk bezig met een aantal nieuwe simgames, zoals The Sims 2 en Sim City: Rush Hour.
