Op de E3 werd bekendgemaakt dat PlayStation 3-gebruikers exclusieve DLC voor Mafia II zullen krijgen. Via de lijst met trophies van Mafia II is er nu meer informatie bekend over deze DLC. Zo draagt de content de naam ‘Jimmy’s Vendetta’ en brengt het enkele nieuwe missies. Als we naar de trophies van de DLC kijken lijkt het ook dat het genoeg content zal bevatten. Trophies als ‘dood 1000 vijanden’ of ‘sloop 100 voertuigen’ zijn namelijk niet heel snel te behalen.

Ik ben benieuwd waarvoor Jimmy een vendetta uitgeroepen heeft. Lekker wraak nemen op iemand, I love it!
Ok dat wordt dan Mafia 2 voor de PS3, me 1e multiplatform game die ik dus voor de PS3 koop en niet voor de Xbox 360

Werdt eens tijd dat de PS3 iets exclusive kreeg. Of weetje wat nog beter is? Gewoon stoppen met dit exclusive BULLSHIT! Het slaat helemaal nergens op, ze willen gewoon dat je spijt krijg van je aankoop! Belachelijk!!
Ik denk dat mafia 2 niet goed afloopt, een vendetta begin je niet zomaar
waarom kondigen ze nu al dlc aan het spel is nog niet eens af/uit.
het staat dus gewoon al op de disc zoals zo vaak gebeurt lekkere oplichterij weer.
Duurt een jaar, en dan is het niet exclusive meer, kijk maar naar de dlc voor GTA4
Zou ook exclusive zijn voor de box en dat duurde ook precies een jaar, dan is het contract voorbij en kunnen ze het gewoon voor elk platform uitgeven.
Maar dat terzijde ze moeten er gewoon mee ophouden, gewoon wel content of niet…en niet een platform voortrekken waardoor mensen inderdaad echt spijt krijgen dat ze een game hebben gekocht, of nog erger…spijt van de console keuze…
Ik ben een 360 gamer en ik ben het daar mee eens want er moet wel een beetje gelijkheid blijven tussen de consoles. 8)

The Betrayal of Jimmy will be available exclusively for PlayStation 3 worldwide. Gamers who purchase a new copy of Mafia II on PS3 will receive this content free starting on launch day, or you can pick up this pack for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network. In this pack, you play as Jimmy and unlock new city-based challenges ranging from assasinations to timed vehicle based missions that include shootouts, car chases, and explosions. The Betrayal of Jimmy will also feature arcade-style gameplay, allowing you to replay missions, hone your craft, and post your scores to the Mafia II leaderboards to see where you rank against your friends.
Our second installment of downloadable content, Jimmy’s Vendetta, will be available shortly after launch. This pack be available on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, offering arcade-style gameplay along with new missions and leaderboard competition. In Jimmy’s Vendetta, you will step into the shoes of the pack’s namesake and help him clean up messes around Empire Bay (and compete against your friends to see who can do the job most efficiently and score highest on the leaderboards.)
