Sony heeft zojuist bekendgemaakt dat de kosten voor het PlayStation Plus-abonnement omhoog gaan in Amerika en Canada. Het jaarabonnement gaat naar 59.99 dollar (69.99 Canadese dollar) en het kwartaalabonnement gaat nu 24,99 dollar kosten.
Sony laat weten dat dit pas de eerste keer is dat men de prijzen van PlayStation Plus in Amerika en Canada verhoogt. De hogere prijs is nodig om de dienst te blijven ontwikkelen:
