Met de Xbox One Scorpio heeft Microsoft het startschot gegeven voor een console war waarin het draait om slechts één ding: teraflops. Nintendo gelooft echter niet in deze strijd, zo liet Nintendo of America-baas Reggie Fils-Aime weten in een interview. Hij gelooft meer in de kracht van content.
Fils-Aime wil met zowel de Wii U als de NX niet de focus leggen op teraflops. Hij gelooft dat goede games veel meer waard zijn:
