Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 header Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is het vierde deel uit de Black Ops-verhaallijn. Het verhaal speelt zich af tussen de gebeurtenissen uit Black Ops 2 en Black Ops 3. Ontwikkelaar Treyarch gooit het in dit deel over een iets andere boeg. Zo heeft Black Ops 4 geen traditionele singleplayer campaign. Ook is de multiplayer wat meer teruggebracht naar de basis. Zaken als wall running en double jumps zijn geschrapt. Verder speelt Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in op de populariteit van Battle Royale. Een dergelijjke spelmodus zit ook in Black Ops 4 in de vorm van "Blackout". De pc-versie van Black Ops 4 maakt gebruik van de populaire Battle.net omgeving van Blizzard. Naast veel nieuwe content kent Black Ops 4 ook herkenbare elementen. De multiplayer verwelkomt namelijk enkele mappen die populair waren in vorige Black Ops-delen. Zo keren de mappen Firing Range, Jungle, Slums en Summit terug. Ook de zeer populaire en iconische map Nuketown is weer te spelen in Black Ops 4, enige tijd na de release. Alle mappen zijn grondig opgepoetst door de ontwikkelaars en voorzien van nieuwe visuals.
