Deathloop grote kanshebber bij Game Awards 2021; wat wordt jouw GOTY?

De nominaties voor de Game Awards 2021 zijn bekendgemaakt. In de nacht van 9 op 10 december worden de winnaars bekendgemaakt tijdens het Game Awards evenement in Los Angeles.

In 2020 was The Last of Us Part 2 de grote winnaar met 7 gewonnen awards van de 10 nominaties die de game kreeg. Dit jaar lijkt op voorhand Deathloop een grote kanshebber met 9 nominaties, waaronder die voor Game of the Year. Andere games met veel nominaties zijn Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (6 keer) en It Takes Two en Psychonauts 2 met ieder 5 nominaties.

Bekijk hieronder de volledige lijst met nominaties voor de Game Awards 2021. De winnaars worden straks bepaald op basis van stemmen door zowel een jury als het publiek. De jury bestaat uit meer dan 100 media en influencers uit de game-industrie. Hun stemmen tellen voor 90 procent mee. Om fans toch inspraak te geven, zonder het risico te lopen op grootschalige manipulatie, tellen de stemmen van het gewone publiek mee voor 10 procent van de einduitslag.
