Tijdens de E3 2018 kondigde Square Enix tijdens hun persconferentie aan dat Final Fantasy XIV en Monster Hunter World samenkomen: Monster Hunter World-zaken komen naar Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy’s Behemoth komt naar Monster Hunter World. Dat zie je in bovenstaande trailer.
