Wij bij GamersNET zijn niet vies van een beetje cosplay. Zo besteedden we eerder al aandacht aan prachtige Assassin’s Creed cosplay van Nederlandse bodem. Avery “acdramon” Byrd onderwierp Ubisofts andere AAA-game aan dezelfde behandeling en het resultaat is verbluffend.
Byrd voelde zich direct aangetrokken tot Watch Dogs 2-protagonist Marcus Holloway. Het was voor hem niet meer dan logisch om als deze jongen te cosplayen:
As soon as I saw Watch Dogs 2’s main character, Marcus, it struck a real cord with me. There isn’t much black representation in the vast medium of games, especially black characters who reflect nerd culture. It was really touching to see this character at the forefront of a franchise whose premise I thoroughly enjoyed.Byrd eindigt met een advies voor iedere gamer met cosplay-ambities:
