Ontwikkelaar Team17 omschrijft Worms 4 zelfs als “de ultieme draagbare Worms-ervaring”. De game wordt gekenmerkt door een vernieuwde, cartooneske stijl en is volledig gebouwd voor mobiele apparaten.
