Star Wars werd tot voorheen afgedaan als fictie, maar een nieuwe ontdekking van NASA bewijst de “galaxy far, far away” echt bestaat! NASA’s meest recente vondst lijkt namelijk wel erg op een double-bladed lightsaber.
De Hubble Space Telescope fotografeerde de ster in onderstaande video in het Orion B molecular cloud complex. De ster is 1350 lichtjaren van ons verwijderd en doet qua vorm sterk denken aan het iconische wapen uit de Star Wars-serie. NASA-astronaut John Grunsfeld vertelt:
