De eerste patch van Rainbow Six Siege verschijnt vandaag voor de pc, Xbox One en PlayStation 4. Naast het gebruikelijke verwijderen van bugs en het verbeteren van de gameplay, brengt de patch een interessante feature voor pc-gamers die gebruik maken van 4K-resoluties.
Naast de patch is er via Uplay een gratis DLC-item beschikbaar. Dit DLC-item bevat ultra-HD textures waarmee 4K-gebruikers het uiterste uit hun game kunnen halen. Ubisoft zegt dat iedereen met een 4GB-videokaart en een 1080p- of 1440p-resolutie ook een verschil kan zien met de nieuwe textures, al is het maximale effect vooral zichtbaar bij een 4K-resolutie.
