In aanloop naar de San Diego Comic Con zijn er drie nieuwe foto’s vrijgegeven van acteur Ryan Reynolds als Deadpool. De opnames voor X-Men spin-off zijn inmiddels afgerond, dus wie weet wordt eerdaags de eerste trailer wel vrijgeven.
De officiële synopsis van de film luidt als volgt:
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.Naast Reynolds zullen ook Gina Carano, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Millen en Ed Skrein in de film te zien zijn.
Deadpool zal vanaf 11 februari 2016 in de Nederlandse bioscopen te zien zijn.
