Nadat we het een paar jaar zonder Rock Band en Guitar Hero hebben moeten stellen, maken beide franchises in 2015 opnieuw hun opwachting. Guitar Hero Live-ontwikkelaar FreeStyle heeft nu de eerste 24 nummers bekendgemaakt die de setlist van Guitar Hero Live zal bevatten. Met nummers als Bangarang van Skrillex, Sing van Ed Sheeran is de hedendaagse muziek vertegenwoordigt, terwijl ook klassiekers als Paint it Black van The Rolling Stones hun opwachting maken.
