Ubisoft heeft een nieuwe patch uitgebracht voor Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Deze verhelpt niet alleen een flink aantal bugs, dankzij de patch krijgt de Companion App tevens een kleinere rol.
Blauwe en gele schatkisten kon je normaal enkel vrijspelen door taken te voltooien in de Companion App, maar dat is nu verleden tijd. Ook mensen zonder smartphone of tablet kunnen vanaf nu genieten van al het moois dat deze kistjes bevatten. Ubisoft vertelt:
The patch should resolve numerous reported issues including the ‘Find Leon’ objective not showing up and the relocking of weapon and equipment rewards after they’ve been earned. Additionally, we will be unlocking all content exclusive to Initiates and the Companion App, including both blue and gold chests. Players can still progress on the Companion App, they just will no longer be required to complete content to unlock in-game chests.De pc-versie van de patch belooft de stabiliteit en prestaties van Unity te verbeteren, maar werd ironisch genoeg uitgesteld. Het is momenteel nog onduidelijk wat de nieuwe releasedatum is.
