Techland heeft de fysieke release van Dying Light uitgesteld in Europa, Afrika, Azië, Australië en het Midden Oosten. Oorspronkelijk zou de game zowel digitaal als fysiek moeten verschijnen op 30 januari, maar daar komt nu verandering in – zowel in positieve als negatieve zin.
Hoewel de digitale release vooruit is geschoven naar 27 januari, zag Techland zich genoodzaakt de boxed versie uit te stellen. In een officiële verklaring meldt de ontwikkelaar dat de nieuwe releasedatum nog onbekend is:
There will be a short delay in the release of physical copies of Dying Light in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. As physical production has a longer lead time than digital there is some delay in the aforementioned territories. We will share information on the availability of physical copies as soon as it is confirmed.We hopen jullie spoedig te kunnen voorzien van een nieuwe releasedatum.
