Er zijn twee grote namen toegevoegd aan de cast van Transformers: Age of Extinction, zo maakt regisseur Michael Bay bekend op zijn website. Niemand minder dan John Goodman en Godzilla-ster Ken Watanabe maken vanaf vandaag onderdeel uit van de crew. De acteurs zullen helaas niet schitteren op het witte doek, ze zullen namelijk de stemmen verzorgen van twee Autobots. Michael Bay liet weten erg blij te zijn met de komst van de twee heren:
“I am pleased to welcome two gifted and versatile actors, John Goodman and Ken Watanabe, to the world of Transformers. And to reteam with Peter and Frank, who have brought Transformers characters alive from the beginning. I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the best voice talent in the business, and together we will introduce several exciting new robots to fans of the franchise around the world.”De heren zullen half juli te horen zijn als Hound en Drift. Zij voegen zich daarmee bij de voice-cast die verder bestaat uit Peter Cullen als Optimus Prime, Frank Welker als Galvatron, John DiMaggio als Crosshairs, Mark Ryan als Lockdown, Robert Foxworth als Ratchet en Reno Wilson als Brains. Acteurs Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller, Han Geng en Titus Welliver zullen daarentegen wel op het scherm te zien zijn.
Transformers: Age of Extincion is vanaf 10 juli te zien in de bioscoop. In 3D en IMAX 3D.
