Een jaar geleden verscheen Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army, exclusief voor de pc. Een half jaar later volgde al de – minder succesvolle – sequel. Nu heeft ontwikkelaar Rebellion bekendgemaakt dat ook console-bezitters binnenkort kunnen jagen op fascistische ondoden.
Beide games zullen hun opwachting maken op de consoles. Rebellion benadrukt echter dat het hier niet gaat om een simpele port; we kunnen flink wat extra content verwachten:

Like many independent developers, we’re still learning the ropes and having a lot of conversations with the platform holders. We’re not at the stage where we can confirm the platforms right now, but we’re fortunate to have experience already from self-publishing on Steam and mobile, so we’re confident it’ll go smoothly.Rebellion is lid van Microsofts ID@Xbox-service, wat betekent dat het zelf games kan publiceren op de Xbox One. Een release op de next-gen consoles is dus niet ondenkbaar.
