Na vele geruchten is het nu eindelijk officieel: Borderlands 2 krijgt een Game of the Year Edition, die vanaf 11 oktober bij ons in de winkels te vinden zal zijn. De speciale editie bevat in totaal voor ruim 100 dollar aan content en heeft een adviesprijs van 59,99 dollar.
De Game of the Year Edition bevat naast de game Borderlands 2 ook alle vier de campagne add-ons, te weten Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt en Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. Ook de twee extra classes, Gaige the Mechromancer en Krieg the Psycho, zitten in de GotY-versie, samen met het Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1. Dit pakket verhoogt de level cap naar 61 en voegt nog Heads en Skins toe uit de eerder verschenen Collector’s Edition, als ook de volgende Premiere Club-content:
