In Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate draait het, zoals de titel al doet vermoeden, maar om één ding: jagen op monsters. Gelukkig hoef je nooit bang te zijn dat je constant dezelfde monsters tegen het lijf loopt, want Capcom heeft zojuist bevestigd dat de game maar liefst 73 nieuwe monsters zal bevatten, waaronder enkele oude bekende uit vorige games.
Bovendien is Cha-Cha voortaan niet meer alleen, want Capcom heeft een nieuwe computergestuurde shakalaka companion toegevoegd: Kayamba. Cha-cha en Kayamba zijn echter wel elkaars vijanden, dus reken op heel wat ruzies en gevechten tijdens je avontuur.
Meer interessante weetjes: Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate bevat bij de release 339 quests (waaronder 211 totaal nieuwe), 3061 onderdelen voor je uitrusting en drie nieuwe omgevingen, te weten The Tower, Misty Peaks en de Tainted Sea.
