Ontwikkelaar bij Platinum Games, Hideki Kamiya, heeft zijn Twitter-volgers beloofd dat zowel Bayonetta 2 als The Wonderful 101 allebei exclusief voor de Wii U blijven. Kamiya bevestigde dat Nintendo het bedrijf is dat zijn ontwikkelingen financiert en dus ook bepaalt op welke platforms zijn spellen uitkomen:
We’re a development company…Nintendo gives us money, we make Bayonetta 2 and W101, and they sell it…So if Nintendo says ‘We’re putting Bayonetta 2 on PS360′ it’ll come out on those platforms…So ask Nintendo about it…De uiteindelijke keuze ligt dus bij Nintendo en de kans dat zij hun exclusieve juweeltjes uit handen geven is erg klein.
