Eindelijk kunnen we een eerste officiële foto laten zien van Kick-Ass 2. Kick-Ass 2 is het aankomende vervolg op het in 2010 succesvol uitgebrachte Kick-Ass. Op de foto zien we acteur Aaron Taylor-Johnson als superheld Kick-Ass, en nieuwkomer Jim Carrey als Colonel Stars and Stripes.

In the action-comedy sequel Kick-Ass 2, the eponymous hero (Aaron Taylor-Johnson, right) joins a superhero team called Justice Forever, led by Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey, left). Chloe Grace Moretz reprises her role as Mindy, but has “given up Hit Girl and is trying to be a normal teenage,” says Jeff Wadlow, who picks up the directing reigns from Matthew Vaughn.
In Kick-Ass 2 onstaat er een nieuwe groep superhelden, onder leiding van Colonel Stars and Stripes gespeeld door Jim Carrey. Maar wanneer deze groep word opgejaagd door Red Mist, omgetoverd tot slechterik The Mother F%&*^r gespeeld door Christopher Mintz-Plasse, blijkt dat alleen Hit Girl de groep jonge superhelden kan redden.
Met sterren als Chloe Grace Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Nicolas Cage en natuurlijk Jim Carrey, is Kick-Ass 2 vanaf 18 juli in de Nederlandse bioscoop te zien.
