Vandaag liet Ubisoft weten dat de Assassin’s Creed film back on track is en het script per direct geschreven gaat worden. De Franse uitgever is een partnership aangegaan met New Regency Productions en de film gebaseerd op de Assassin’s Creed franchise lijkt nu toch eindelijk gemaakt te gaan worden. Jean-Julien Baronnet, chief executive officer bij Ubisoft Motion Pictures sprak in een persbericht over de samenwerking:
