Eind dit jaar komt hij er eindelijk aan, Halo 4. Jullie zullen allemaal wel weten dat dit deeltje niet meer door Bungie gemaakt wordt maar door 343 Industries (de heren die ons o.a. Halo Reach gebracht hebben).
In een recent interview werd aan mede-oprichter van Bungie, Alex Seropian, gevraagd wat zijn mening is over het feit dat de Halo franchise nu in handen is van Microsoft & 343 Industries. Seropias blijkt hier overwegend positief over te zijn:
It’s so crazy in an interesting way. I’ve been an observer for a while now. So much has gone on with the franchise. I will say the encouraging thing is that I know a lot of the folks at Microsoft working on it and they are great peopleSeropian meldt verder nog dat hij toch lichtjes nerveus is wat de toekomst van Halo gaat worden, maar hij verwacht dat Microsoft & 343 Industries alle verwachtingen gaan waarmaken.
I don’t think I can be anything other than hopeful that it will be great. We’ll see. Halo is one of the crown jewels in the Microsoft gaming IP, if not the crown jewel, so you would expect nothing less than for them to take the time needed and apply the resources needed to make it great. I would be pretty surprised if they wiffed it.
