Trouwe volgers van de GamersNET Twitter en Facebook konden het al lezen in de GN Lunchtip, het boek Mass Effect: Deception zit vol met fouten. Het is zo erg dat ontevreden eigenaren van het boek een hele lijst hebben gemaakt met fouten.
Chris Priestly van BioWare heeft in een reactie op het BioWare-forum bekendgemaakt dat de fouten in toekomstige edities van Mass Effect: Deception zullen zijn verbeterd. Daarnaast maakt hij zijn excuses voor de vele fouten.
