Over een maand is het eindelijk zover, want dan barst de E3-gekte weer los en krijgen we onder andere de nieuwe console van Nintendo te zien, vooralsnog getiteld Project Cafe. Ubisoft heeft afgelopen week al een uitspraak kunnen doen over de console, want Yves Guillemot, president van het bedrijf, vindt het platform fantastisch.
The platform Nintendo is coming with is really a fantastic platform. We think it will be extremely successful.De beste man wist zelfs te vertellen dat men Xbox 360 en PlayStation 3-titels kan porten naar Project Cafe zonder dat men games volledig moet aanpassen.
What we see is that we will be able to leverage a lot of the work we do for Xbox 360 and PS3 while we create games for the platform. So we will not have to redo completely the games that we create. We’ll be able to use all the capacity the console is giving but also use all the work we do for the other platforms.Het lijkt er dus op dat Project Cafe een krachtige console zal worden, al zullen we dat pas werkelijk zien tijdens de onthulling op de E3.
