Capcom heeft onlangs bevestigd dat MotoGP 09/10 op dit moment in ontwikkeling is bij de Britse ontwikkelaar Monumental Games. Naast het rechtoe rechtaan race gedeelte zal de nieuwe MotoGP iets unieks te bieden hebben aan racefans met betrekking tot het echte raceseizoen in 2010.
Michael Pattison, directeur van marketing Europa bij Capcom, gaf een toelichting:
- “Historically MotoGP videogames have been released toward the end of the GP season, but with this latest addition to the series we wanted MotoGP and racing fans to have the most up to date content as soon as possible. Never before will gamers have been able to play with current season content so early in the real world GP season.”
MotoGP 09/10 zal in maart 2010 verschijnen voor de Xbox 360 en PlayStation 3.
Toch heb ik het idee dat deze game niet zo’n succes wordt.
