Eerder maakte CliffyB veel furore met harde kritiek op de PC als platform. Maar toen hem laatst gevraagd werd of PC gaming gered kon worden door de nieuwe PC Gaming Alliance antwoordde hij: “Abso-frigging-lutely”.
“I think everybody coming together in that kind of way will essentially kind of help re-glue things back together and kind of help fix the market. I have a big PC gaming heritage and I love playing games with a keyboard and a mouse, as well as a console, and I’d just love to see it.”
Ondertussen heeft Mark Rein, een andere executive bij Epic, Cliffy’s eerdere quotes afgedaan door hem een “idioot” te noemen. Cliffy is deel van het team bij Epic dat console games maakt en het team dat werkt aan PC titels staat nog altijd positief tegenover het platform.
