Family Timer aangekondigd als Xbox 360 update

Het is de nachtmerrie van elk kind: een timer op de Xbox 360. Dit jaar nog krijgen ouders de mogelijkheid om een limiet te zetten op het aantal uur dat een kind, per week of per dag, achter zijn of haar 360 mag zitten. De Xbox waarschuwt als de tijd bijna op is en dan moet je ook wel opschieten want als tijd op is sluit hij zichzelf af. Robbie Back van Microsoft legt uit:

“It’s Microsoft’s responsibility to provide parents with tools they can use to manage their children’s video gaming and online experiences, and we have made that a priority from the very start, … Professionally, I am proud of my division’s work in this area, and personally, as a parent of three school-age children, I know how important it is to be engaged in an ongoing dialogue with my family in order to uphold our household screen time rules.”
