SCEE kondigt Eye Toy: Chat aan

De E3 belooft weer een enorm spektakel te worden. Talloze nieuwe games worden aangekondigd en geshowed en zo vergaat het ook Eye Toy: Chat. Deze was eerder al onofficieel aangekondigd en nu is het officieel.

Eye Toy: Chat is kort gezegd gewoon een videofoon, zodat je met elkaar kunt communiceren en elkaar op hetzelfde moment ziet:

EyeToy: Chat will allow users to communicate with each other in four different ways, namely text, voice, video mail, and one-to-one video chat. Text chat rooms will allow up to 256 users to participate simultaneously, while the voice chat rooms will have room for 16 people. The video mail feature will allow users to send 30-second long video messages to anyone on their buddy list. Whilst engaging in a one-on-one video chat, users will have the option to play games against each other, including chess, draughts, and naval war.
