Op de site van Novalogic staat dat vandaag, 12 september, de demo van Delta Force – Black Hawk Down (mulitplayer) online komt. Eerder deze week werd de demo verzet doordat er nog enige bugs in de demo zaten. We hopen natuurlijk dat vandaag de demo wel online komt en dan ook nog zonder grote bugs ;-). Als het eenmaal zover is dat de demo online is, zullen wij dat natuurlijk meteen melden op GamersNet.
Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Inc. today announced that the official multiplayer demo for Delta Force – Black Hawk Down will be released on Thursday September 12th 2002. The demo will be available for download from www.novalogic.com and a number of key mirror sites. The demo follows the hugely successful multiplayer beta that had over 200,000 recorded downloads during its seven-day availability period. .
Mogelijkheden in de demo:
The demo will feature one multiplayer level and includes day and night settings. The demo will be playable over the NovaWorld Games Network and via LAN. Other features in the demo include:
* Night vision.
* Players can play as medics.
* Humvees drive around the map on a fixed course. Players can board the Humvees and use the .50 cal machine guns against the opposing team.
* Progressive Spawn Points – Players can “capture” neutral spawn points to add additional spawn locations.
* Players can lean around corners to look and shoot.
* Frag grenades.
* Grenade launchers (fixed weapon emplacements).
* New weapon ballistics.
