Everquest zal uitgebreid worden met de expansion pack “Everquest: Shadows of Luclin”. Dit staat te lezen in het officiële persbericht van Sony Online Entertainment. Deze uitbreiding zal onder andere nieuwe zones, nieuwe spreuken en een nieuwe karakterklasse bezitten. Tevens is er een complete update van de graphics voorzien zodat Everquest gamers nog beter plaatjes voorgeschoteld krijgen.
