Infogrames heeft bekend gemaakt dat Stuart Copeland de titelsong voor Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare heeft gecomponeerd. Copeland is een vijfvoudig Grammy Award winnaar en lid van “The Police” en hij heeft naast zijn werk voor The Police al de muziek voor enkele bekende films geproduceerd.
De titelsong heet toepasselijk “Alone in the Dark” en wordt afgespeeld tijdens de openingsfilm en de eindcredits als de speler het spel heeft uitgespeeld.
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare zal naar verwachting deze zomer worden gereleased op de PC, Playstation, Dreamcast en GameBoy Color. Een beschrijving van wat je kan verwachten kan ik niet beter geven dan via de tekst die al in het persbericht staat:
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare immerses the player into a dark and strange atmosphere where conventional rules don’t apply. Players must overcome their natural fear of the dark unknown and control the notorious supernatural detective, Edward Carnby or Aline Cedrac, a high-spirited adventurer and anthropologist through a terrifying, detailed storyline. Armed with a flashlight and a pistol, Carnby and Aline must find the necessary items to survive as well as the clues to help them escape their ultimate nightmare.
